It was a rough night for Ernie as he was vomiting every 30
minutes to start and then eventually every hour. By morning he
had gone a couple hours without being sick and was getting up to
attempt to play with Amelia during the morning. We thought
perhaps at this point it was a 24 hour bug and he was on the
upswing and that maybe some fresh air would do him good. We
reluctantly and hesitantly packed everyone up and made our way
to the Boardwalk Resort to park, view the decorations and then
take a leisurely stroll to Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Ernie was very very mope-y this whole time and I felt so sad for
him. I was beginning to have doubts about our plan at this point
but it was a cool, crisp morning and we were trying to move
forward.
DHS was extremely busy by the time we made it through the
turnstiles. We headed toward Toy Story Mania and I left to try
and get FastPasses. You wouldn't even believe the lines just
waiting to get FPs! It really could have taken me 30 minutes to
get FPs if I had decided to wait so I immediately turned around
and headed back to EB and the kids. We decided to grab FPs for
The Little Mermaid instead and then head into the Playhouse
Disney Live on Stage show. It was so crowded and we were back
pretty far from the stage - we've never experienced crowds like
this with the kids before. They were really cramming everyone
in!

Ernie was still mope-y and just hanging on me. I'm sure between
feeling sick, the crowds and noise it was probably pure torture
for him to be there. I picked him up partially through the show
and stood in the back with him. Now, although he had yet to get
sick again I was getting that instinct inside of me that said,
"Get ye back to the resort with this sick child!"
After the show, we decided that we'd at least try to make the
Playhouse Disney Hollywood and Vine lunch and then head back to
SSR. Even this meal was quite crowded - something we've not
experienced before.
We were seated almost immediately after checking in and EB went
up to the buffet to get some food for him and Amelia. When he
came back I went up for some food for myself as well as some
bread for Ernie. And funny enough, our waiter was someone from
our hometown area - we've never met someone that close to our
location before!

We were visited by many characters during this meal and Leo even
came and sat in the booth with Amelia. That made for some cute
photos. Ernie was shy with the characters and just very clingy
to me.

About halfway through the meal, my instincts came to fruition.
He vomited all over me and the floor. I was soaked, he was
crying and it was a just a mess! We alerted our waiter, settled
our bill and cleaned us both up as best we could. Then, we
high-tailed it out of there and speed-walked back to the
Boardwalk, retrieved our car and made it back to our resort
without another vomit incident until we got back.
My poor little guy. All he wanted to do was lay there or nurse.
He just stared around and whimpered. It broke my heart.
The remainder of this day is escaping me, but I believe EB might
have taken Amelia for a walk within the resort and we made
dinner in our villa. Since we were leaving the next day we also
did a little bit of packing - whatever we were able to do with a
sick Ernie. He didn't want me out of his sight and would cry if
I left his side, so it was tough to get anything done.

I believe EB and Amelia fell asleep early that night and Ernie
got sick with me on the pull out sofa off and on all night.
By now we were just hoping he'd feel well by morning for the
flight home.
