We
got up bright and early and made it to Epcot by about 8:30am. We
got nearly the same parking spot as a few days ago but there
were HUGE lines already! Yikes! It took us some time to get
through the turnstiles once the gates opened - I thought we’d
get trampled. I don’t remember ever being there when it was this
crazy.
We
immediately went on Spaceship Earth. Again, it was a great ride
but Ernie cried and fussed most of the way through. He was not
being himself.

Went then went to Character Connection and waited about 20
minutes before it was our turn to see the characters. It was a
lot of fun - we saw Mickey, Pluto, Minnie, Donald and Goofy. The
kids really enjoyed themselves and we got some great pictures.

From there we did Nemo and then got a soft pretzel snack. After
finishing our snack, we went on the Figment Ride – Journey into
the Imagination.
Afterwards, we wanted to take it easy and the crowds were a bit
unbearable. We just walked around World Showcase until it was
time to check in to our lunch reservation at Coral Reef.
A
short while later we checked in for our 11:40am lunch
reservation. I sat on the bench and nursed Ernie while he fell
asleep. Our buzzer went off and we were seated tank side at a
table just one down from where we sat in September. After we
were sure Ernie was sound asleep, EB got one of the strollers
and brought it to our table so I could lay him down. He slept
through half of the meal and then woke up crying. I tried to
give him a bit of bread but he refused. He nursed some more and
then fell asleep. The meal was great as usual and dessert was
phenomenal. I also enjoyed some tea during this meal which was
so good at hot. It was getting quite cold outside so it warmed
me right up. We were concerned, though, that Ernie did not eat
lunch and was not sleeping very well. He was just crying and
wanted to be held, but no interest in eating which is really
unusual for him.

After our delicious lunch at Coral Reef Café we walked around
the World Showcase a bit, but Amelia was acting up and Ernie
woke up crying. He was not happy and nothing was making him
happy.
Below are some pictures of Epcot decorated for the holiday.

We
quickly left Epcot and got back to our resort by about 2:30.
That’s when Ernie threw up. We cleaned him up and I let him
nurse. About five minutes afterwards he threw up again. EB and
Amelia went and bought saltines and Pedialyte. Ernie ate a
saltine and then threw up again about five minutes after. I held
and snuggled him on our pull out sofa for some time while he
fussed and rolled around a bit. EB and Amelia headed to Earl of
Sandwich to get some take out for our dinner. I stayed back and
gave him a small amount of Pedialyte. He kept it down and
finally fell asleep. After some time I transferred him to his
pack and play and EB, Amelia and I ate dinner while watching
The Santa Clause 2. Ernie would not be asleep for long,
though. It was a rough night. More tomorrow! |
