Course Description: This course is designed to provide an introductory look at the application of computers.  Students will be given hands-on experiences with the technology at a pace designed for students with little or no technology experience.  Students will be introduced to basic software programs and shown how to apply them to their teaching.  Students will also be introduced to aspects of the Internet that can enhance the educational process.  Students will leave the course with finished projects that can be applied to their classroom teaching.

3.  Students will use Digital Video Editing Software and PowerPoint as interventions for reading education.

 

Students are not required to purchase a text (see resources below).  However, students are required to purchase a memory device (e.g., USB memory stick or burnable CDROMS) in order to backup and transport the projects.
