Conflict Resolution
Poverty exists. Reality must be acknowledged for change to occur, and I hope people will have the desire to improve the conditions of life for everyone. My wish and dream is for people to find a home in love and happiness.

Description of Opportunities:
As Peer Educators, students volunteers present 50 minute interactive workshops on topics such as alcohol poisoning, sexual assault, eating disorders, and relationships. These presentations take place in residence halls and classrooms.
Peer Mediation enables 2 volunteers trained in conflict resolution to meet with students who need to work out an issue they are facing. Whether roommates, neighbors, or friends are in conflict, the Peer Mediators meet with those involved to discuss the situation. These meetings take place without a professional in the room, but a counselor is always available as a resource.
